Sleep Routine

Hoomband Eye Mask and Headphones: This has changed my life. I listen to a sleep meditation on the Insight Timer, it’s about an hour long. It helps so much to go to sleep and let my mind not spiral into anxiety. This eye mask has pressure on your head that helps to relieve tension from the day as well as soft speakers over your ears, I can peacefully fall asleep without noisy neighbors keeping me up. I can lay on my back, side or stomach and not be uncomfortable with AirPods in my ears.

Sleepy Girl Supplements:

-Magnesium: I mix my serving in about 2 oz of water and take it like a shot lol

-Life Cykel Reishi mushrooms: Let it sit under your tongue to absorb into your body quicker, then swallow the rest.

-Kava Tea: I will drink kava tea at night if I really need an extra boost of calm.

I try and put my phone away about an hour before I go to bed. Set up my coffee maker for the morning and clean the kitchen so I am relaxed when I wake up. I take my supplements, wash my face and brush my teeth, then sit in bed and read before I turn my meditation on.

Taking life slower has changed my stress levels. I set my alarm for 2 hours before I need to leave for work, this way I can really ease into the day, make breakfast, and get ready or work without spiking my cortisol. Trust me, it helps!
